You can select a single color, or colored pattern for the ripple. The ripple originates from the pressed key or device. Ripple: The ripple effect spreads a color pattern outwards in all directions when a button is activated. This will choose a color at random to use when a button or key is pressed. A single color can be selected, or the color theme can be set to random. Reactive: Reactive allows lighting to change when a key or button is activated. The colors vary with a mix of shades, with varying brightness levels. Alternatively, you can choose to use random colors for the breathing effect.ДЇire: Fire uses two colors to create a fading burn-like effect. You can set two colors for the breathing to cycle between. The color of the light can be selected through the settings. High colors show when louder, bassy sounds are played.Д«reathing: The breathing effect slowly ramps the lighting up then back down. Colors on the left will be shown when low sounds are played. The pattern is a gradient from low to high. The color changes based on the set pattern. This causes issues if you have a multiple monitor setup.ДЄudio Meter: Audiometer uses the sound from your computer to change the lighting color. The region can only be set on your primary monitor. When setting up ambient awareness you will need to choose a region to source the colors from. The colors that show when using ambient awareness tend to be dull when compared to other effects.

It will then use the colors on your screen as a reference, and change your lighting accordingly.

Each effect has its own series of customisable settings, and can be assigned to specified keys and devices.ДЄmbient Awareness: The ambient awareness effect requires you to select a region on your screen. There are 11 effects that you can use to create your lighting profile. However, the effect wonвЂ™t be updated on your devices until the save button is pressed. Typically you will want it set to вЂњFit allвЂќ, however during the creation process you may want to get closer to the preview.ДЄs you make changes the preview will automatically change.

Towards the bottom left of the preview is a zoom menu. When you first open the chroma studio, you will see all of your connected devices on the workspace preview. If chroma is missing, it can be installed through the вЂњModulesвЂќ tab at the top of the software. The chroma module should be active in Razer Synapse by default. Chroma is used to create custom lighting effects for connected Razer devices. YouвЂ™ll also see dimmer versions of the effects when youвЂ™re in full-screen mode, so you watch videos or play games in the dark without getting blinded by intense multi-colored light shows.Razer Chroma Studio is the lightning module inside of the Synapse software. Since non-stop light shows can be quite distracting, though, Opera and Razer assure that the effects only kick in when something happening in the browser triggers them. Chroma keyboards will also be able to display GIFs - in other words, mimic their colors through animation - whenever you get Discord, Twitch, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp or Instagram notifications. You can pick one of the built-in animation themes with different color schemes for a simple setup, but you can also select each individual effect to personalize the visual cues you get for each task you perform.

Chroma devices can now light up with custom animations when you open new tabs, finish a file download and activate the RAM, CPU and network limiters. Now, the companies have made using Opera GX with Chroma devices a bit more interesting by giving the browser the power to trigger dynamic lighting effects. While the Opera GX gaming browser launched with Razer Chroma compatibility last year, the integration was pretty limited: Chroma devices could only match your chosen highlight colors in the browser.
